To support our vision and ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated Impact Events & Communication Intern to help create memorable and impactful conferences and events that inspire action and drive progress.

This internship provides a unique, hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in planning and managing high-profile events. Your journey will begin with assisting our team in delivering our flagship event, Impact Summit Europe, along with other global conferences.


Internship details:

  • Duration: 6 to 10 months (negotiable)
  • Start Date: March 2026 (negotiable)
  • Location: Amsterdam (partially remote)

You will join our Impact Events team and will actively support us with following responsibilities including (and not excluding other activities):

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team with in-person events production, planning and project coordination
    3rd party and suppliers sourcing & coordination
  • Execute the event production action items according to deadlines per event
  • Supporting “on-site” operations and coordination
  • Coordination and alignment of event branding materials including from and to sponsors
  • Co-create and produce event branding and promotional materials
  • Website support and support of events registration processes in Hubspot
  • Implementation of event management tools, such as event apps, registration processes
  • Desktop publishing (when applicable)
  • Research on event regulations, logistics’ variables

Requirements

  • Following Bachelor or higher education with career ambitions in Marketing & Communications or Facilities & Event Management
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and new media knowledge, such as, video editing preferable)
  • Affinity with technology and a quick learner
  • Based in Amsterdam or willing to travel
  • Available for 6 -10 months to work full-time
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to take the initiative in moving projects forward
  • Hands-on, independent, problem solver, out of the box thinking
  • Extremely service-oriented, strong team player and communicator
  • Commitment to serving society’s needs -ethical behaviour and a high level of personal integrity

Our offer 

  • International team located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
  • 40 working hours per week, (partially remote)
  • 750 EUR remuneration per month
