Impact Fund Associate

Are you a highly motivated professional with experience in the private equity market and interest in impact investing?

Phenix Capital is a fast-growing European investment consultant headquartered in Amsterdam that supports institutional investors in committing capital to impact and SDG investing. We support European institutional investors with the development and implementation of impact and sustainable development investing strategies. Aside from providing investment consulting services, we also strive to educate institutional investors with our flagship conference Impact Summit Europe, the leading impact investing conference for institutional investors.

To support our vision and growth path, Phenix Capital is offering this role of Impact Fund Associate.

Responsibilities

• Impact fund selection, performance of due diligence and relationship management with fund managers in all asset classes with emphasis on private markets

• Assessment and evaluation of the impact proposition of these investment funds

• Impact fund research, sourcing new impact funds in the market

• Support the maintenance of proprietary impact investing fund database of private equity, venture capital, real assets, public equity and fixed income impact funds

You will also deliver support to the different activities in Phenix Capital

Requirements

• Self-starter, pro-active, hands-on, problem solver, out of the box thinking

• Able to find the right balance between taking independent ownership and ensuring coherence of activities within the group context

• Analytical, critical thinking, multitasking

• Skilled in networking and communication, service-oriented

• Able to work in a highly diverse team with different backgrounds, strong team player

• Committed to serving society’s needs - ethical behavior and a high level of personal integrity

Candidate has:

• 2-5 years experience

• Level 1 CFA or CAIA (required)

• Masters in finance or economics

• Private market fund selection experience

• Strong interest in impact investing

• Worked with other asset classes (pre)
