Phenix Capital is an Amsterdam-based investment consultant that catalyses institutional capital towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We support institutional investors to make impact investments through our Impact Database, Institutional Impact Events, Advisory and Placement Services. Phenix Capital runs a series of events globally as well as virtually. We strive to educate institutional investors with our annual flagship conferences such as Impact Summit Europe, the leading impact investing conference in Europe as well as our Asian and American events.
To support our vision and growth path, we have a position opening for an Impact Investor Relations Manager in our events & sales team.
Role profile
Phenix Capital is looking for a graduate with an economics degree or a strong interest in financial services to join its team based in Amsterdam. You will be in charge of building long-lasting relationships with investment decision makers from the most important institutional investors globally.
You will be responsible for researching their issues, identifying the ‘key influencers’, building strong relationships within the targeted regions, and for conducting benchmark research.
Responsibilities

Research the key challenges facing impact investors

Identify ‘key influencers’ among impact investors

Visit key asset owners to conduct research into the issues they are facing

Work closely with marketing to execute effective lead campaigns

Recruit new members for the Impact database

Support the Investment Consulting team to ensure information is up to date

Develop and maintain a clean CRM for your regions
Requirements
-
3 to 5 years’ experience within a Client Relationship Management, Business Development or Institutional Sales role, with a proven track record of success

Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) practices

Financial and asset management knowledge, with a genuine interest in impact investing

High-level analytical and organisational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch

Have the stature to discuss investment issues with senior global investors

Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to take the initiative in moving projects forward

Have a driven and positive personality

Extremely service-oriented, strong team player and communicator

Commitment to serving society’s needs - ethical behaviour and a high level of personal integrity

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Available to work full-time
