30% of the solution to climate change by 2030 must come from the conservation and restoration of nature and investment in sustainable forestry and agriculture—Natural Climate Solutions. Hundreds of billions of dollars must be invested in Natural Climate Solutions to achieve net zero emissions, while also enhancing biodiversity and supporting communities and sustainable development.
The objectives of our convening today are to (i) increase knowledge of Natural Climate Solutions; (ii) identify investment and advocacy actions; and (iii) build awareness of emerging investment strategies. We believe investors can engage, invest, and innovate toward the 2030 Investment Vision for Natural Climate Solutions.

Generation Investment Management, New Forests, Ceres, Conservation International, Forest Trends, Systemiq, The Nature Conservancy, and World Resources Institute have come together to imagine a 2030 Investment Vision for Natural Climate Solutions for asset owners. The Vision seeks to encourage the alignment of asset owners’ investment portfolios with a sustainable land use transition that is as critical as the clean energy transition to achieve Net Zero emissions, protect biodiversity, and align with the Sustainable Development Goals.
