To support our vision and growth path, Phenix Capital Group has a position opening for a Product Owner for our Amsterdam based office.

Role description

The ideal candidate must have passion for impact, knowledge of the Asset Management industry, strong strategic leadership and hands-on skills. 

The Product Owner / Manager will be responsible for the development and growth of the Impact Investor Database and Investor IQ. Therefore, it's important that he/she will have a few years of experience in finance as well as information technology. 

Responsibilities

As a Product Owner at Phenix Capital Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our online impact investment products. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Define and communicate the vision for our impact investment products.
    • Align product strategy with our mission

Requirements Gathering:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
    • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Product Backlog Management:

    • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
    • Ensure that features are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.

Release Planning:

    • Plan and coordinate product releases.
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery.

User Experience (UX) Design:

    • Advocate for user-centric design principles.
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and impactful interfaces.

Quality Assurance (QA):

    • Define acceptance criteria and conduct thorough testing.
    • Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.

Stakeholder Communication:

      • Keep stakeholders informed about product progress, changes, and upcoming features.
      • Facilitate feedback sessions and gather insights.
      • Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications

Growth of in-house data

  • Growing our internal database with industry knowledge

Product Owner Capabilities

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

  • Passion for Impact: You believe in the power of impact investments to drive positive change.
  • Financial Acumen: An affinity for the financial sector and an understanding of investment concepts.
  • Product Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable product features.
  • Low-Code/No-Code Experience: Familiarity with tools like Bubble.io or similar platforms.
  • AI Integration: Exposure to AI-driven solutions for financial advice is a plus.
