Impact Report: Infrastructure Funds at a Glance
Amsterdam, February 27th 2025: Phenix Capital Group has today released its Impact Report: Infrastructure Funds at a Glance.
The report finds that there has been a 220% growth in the number of infrastructure funds listed on the Impact Funds Database since 2015.
As a driver for economic growth and essential for development, the majority of the infrastructure funds (84%) fall under Real Assets in the Phenix Capital Impact Fund Database, with 16% in the private debt category.
From a fund development perspective, Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG7), SDG9, and Climate Action (SDG13) are the most popular, respectively, while from an investor perspective the third most popular is Responsible Consumption & Production (SDG12). The top UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) favoured by infrastructure impact investment managers is SDG 7, with 87.5% of the funds focusing on it.
