The panelists discussed the definitions, goals, and initiatives of leading organizations in the impact investing space, supporting investors in making the next step from responsible to impacting investing. A focus was laid on institutional investors' driving motivations to invest in impact, recent developments in investment decision making processes, and the challenges that continue to define the impact investing space for institutional investors. According to the panelists, one of the essential steps in entering the impact investing industry is choosing a direction and a strategy that includes relevant outcomes. This process can be facilitated through collaboration with various stakeholders, as many organizations in the impact investing sphere share the same objectives. The moderator of the panel, Karen Wilson (Strategic Partnerships, Office of the Secretary General, OECD), further emphasized that tools and frameworks are continuously being developed. This has generated momentum, facilitating organizations' entry into the impact investing industry.
